Design Quarter, the striking new commercial development by Terrace Africa, is proud to release details of some of its confirmed tenants. The development team hosted PUMA Energy, Trafigura and ZIMOCO a few weeks ago to showcase their new space. These powerhouse brands will set the tone for what promises to be Harare’s most sought-after business address.
Located within the upcoming Highlands Precinct, Design Quarter offers 5,500m² of premium lettable space, including high-end showrooms, luxurious A-grade and penthouse offices, and a rooftop restaurant, entertainment and conference venue. The development will add another important element to what is set to be a dynamic and high-value urban precinct. Other confirmed brands include Natuzzi Italian Furniture, Elite Interiors – featuring Hertex Haus – and Verditi Kitchens.

Additional tenants will be unveiled in the coming months, further reinforcing Design Quarter’s position as a flagship development within the city.
A substantial piece of Highlands along ED Mnangagwa Road will undergo major development works over the next few years as part of a modern precinct project which will provide a further 200,000 square metres of mixed-use commercial and residential space within the suburb.
Infrastructure upgrades, including widening and resurfacing of roads, upgrading of electrical substations and the installation of over 2km of sewer lines, signal the seriousness of this project to change the status quo within Harare. Alongside the new commercial office buildings, two hotels, a conference centre and a sports and wellness centre are currently in the development planning stage.
